With my friends from OhNoo Studio-an independent developer team (3 member including me

It's an extraordinary, quirky interactive storybook not only for children called "Amelia and Terror of the Night". It's a story about 3 friends working together to rescue their buddy from evil creature from woods.

Imagine yourself walking alone in the fantasy woods, suddenly you see strange 3 figures in the dark.. Closer you look they seems to look somehow friendly and cute. Is it false impression?

I liked the simple idea behind the sketch so I decided to redone it with full effect in photoshop

. This one was somehow tricky to me becouse I wanted to improve my color problem with temperatures with this one. Hope to improve more with next images comming soon.

This was my entry into the "James and the Giant Peach" Day Dream Contest.

I love that movie so I tired to think about what would happen if James and his friends flied (yes in my version the peach is super light and it is a baloon) in other direction then New York. In here James meet crazy ginat descending walking maschine which is a home to many peaceful, wacky creatures searching for friends to play and sing with.

The image is like giant pizza becouse I made it just as a mix of bunch of elements/garbage thrown together. The elements were cut off from my animation's backgrounds also from photos, textures from internet and painted over. I mostly focus to create a big walking creature in distorted perspective to make it easy. The inspirations were: AT-AT construction from "Star Wars" and "Howl moving castle".

short story:
This is a survival horror movie about three brave sisters who have been attacked by evil reptilia monsters from other dimension. The creatures have been teleported through a portal directly to the girls house. Their main goal is to kidnap the youngest sister for their dark queen to fulfill a terrible revenge plan on the human race. The girls don't give up that easy and are determined to fight with the mischievous critters.

Hello!

This image was suppose to be made for a local mini-competition but during painting my whole conception went to a completaly different direction to a competition's theme so I've decided to finish it as stand alone work.

The image took me awfully lot of time. Everyday I've been adding new details here and there. The lighting was a tricky part here. It took me a while to set proper shadows. Forums, friends, a movie cadres,hand made maquette with flashlight

helped me to fix some mistakes.

This is a portrait of a family who always wanted to be a perfect one with cute baby and loyal dog. Unfortunatelly they has lost their only child in tragic accident and never carry through a vision of accomplished happy family. Only sorrow has left for them..

My inspiration was mostly Tim's Burton "Corpse Bride" and I wanted to achive similar effect. I've chosen one cold color palete to stick with to create specific mood to enhance sorrow.
